Interns will assist with program management, coordinate events, and maintain records within the Training and Workforce Development department.

Responsibilities

Assist Coordinators, Internships and Educational Programs with management of program partners
Serve as a resource for One Summer Chicago Cohort Conductors and high school participants
Observe Cohort Conductor facilitation sessions and provide feedback; serve as a facilitator in the absence of summer programming staff
Assist with coordinating program events and activities; accompany interns on field trips and serve as point of contact for emergencies
Prepare data, compile evaluations, and create weekly program reports
Maintain accurate attendance records for weekly payroll processing
Coordinate the collection of and accuracy-checking of time sheets

Required

Full-time enrollment status in a degree program at an accredited college or university
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficient organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent project management skills
Strong facilitation and public speaking skills virtually and in-person
Previous experience working with youth
