Director, Strategy & Transformation

Wedgewood is the nation’s largest and most trusted provider of compounded veterinary medications, recently merging with Blue Rabbit to enhance its services. The Director of Strategy & Transformation will drive strategic change across the organization, partnering with the Chief Transformation Officer to execute and sustain transformation initiatives aligned with the company’s long-term vision.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the CTO to define and refine the transformation roadmap
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and buy-in across business units
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver transformation initiatives on time and within budget
Oversee the execution of transformation programs, ensuring milestones, KPIs, and outcomes are met
Implement governance structures and reporting mechanisms to track progress and manage risks
Drive continuous improvement and agile methodologies across transformation efforts
Develop and execute change management strategies to support adoption and cultural alignment
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to foster engagement and transparency
Identify and mitigate resistance to change through proactive stakeholder management
Monitor and report on the impact of transformation initiatives, using data-driven insights
Ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value and support strategic objectives
Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, or related field
8+ years of experience in transformation, strategy, or program management roles
Proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives in complex environments
Expertise in agile, lean, or other transformation methodologies
Experience working with executive leadership and managing cross-functional teams
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
High emotional intelligence and ability to influence without authority
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
A leader with strong communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

MBA or equivalent preferred
2-5 years' experience as a consultant at a firm or in a similar corporate strategy role
