Visualization and Analytics Unit Chief
The California Department of Health Care Access and Information is dedicated to ensuring healthcare access for Californians. They are seeking a Visualization and Analytics Unit Chief to provide leadership and direction to the team responsible for workforce data requests, developing dashboards, and publishing open data products, while also fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within the unit.

Responsibilities
Oversees the Visualization & Analytics Unit within the Workforce Research and Analytics Section
Provides leadership and direction to Research Data Specialists and Analysts responsible for fulfilling workforce data requests, developing dashboards, and publishing open data products
Manages workloads, assigns and reviews tasks, and ensures that all outputs meet De-Identification Guidelines (DDG), Data Governance standards, and accessibility requirements
Responsible for monitoring the workforce data mailbox, prioritizing and delegating requests, and ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-focused responses to stakeholders, primarily for the BH-CONNECT Initiative programs
Guides staff development through mentoring, training, and performance management while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Oversees the production of high-quality, transparent, and user-friendly workforce data products
Qualification
Required
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
If you are meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, you must include a copy of your unofficial transcripts and/or license for verification
Official sealed transcripts will be required upon appointment

Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available)
