This role involves owning the core accounting function while partnering with leadership to improve visibility, processes, and decision making across the business.

Responsibilities
Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, inventory accounting, cost accounting, fixed assets, and financial reporting
Oversee month end and year end close ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP
Partner with operations to support inventory management, costing, and manufacturing performance
Prepare financial statements, management reporting, and variance analysis
Manage external audits and coordinate with tax and advisory partners
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
Lead and develop accounting staff with a focus on accountability and growth
Qualification
Required
Proven Controller or senior accounting leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong background in inventory, cost accounting, and operational finance
Bachelor's or Masters in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus
Clear communicator who can partner effectively with operations and leadership
Detail oriented, structured, and process driven mindset
Desire to build long term tenure within one organization
