Responsibilities
Ensures production output targets for team are met
Ensures that Product Launch objectives of the assigned team are met
Responsible for assigned technicians’ and section leaders’ work for safety, quality, and productivity
Engage teams to drive results focusing on operational KPI’s
Responsible for assigned Manufacturing Technician and Section Leader evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, etc
Participates in the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) program and partners with other department leaders in developing recommended actions
Develops subject matter (process and equipment) experts within the team
Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and urgency while managing multiple priorities
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
3 years of applicable technical experience in a manufacturing environment or similar work
Supervisory or leadership experience
Proven ability and experience leading teams independently
Preferred
Knowledge and experience with ERP or similar systems
Knowledge with inventory control systems
Experience with Lean Manufacturing (leading a Kaizen Event)
Experience with Microsoft Office
