Computer Engineer II
Piasecki Aircraft Corporation is a research and development business specializing in design, fabrication and flight testing of experimental rotorcraft and unmanned air vehicles. The Computer Engineer is responsible for the development, testing, and debugging of software for the STRATFI/ARES program and other projects, focusing on software for flight test data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities
Develop software for flight test data collection and analysis
Design and implement software architecture and detailed technical specifications
Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure system reliability
Develop tools for data presentation to support flight test evaluations
Support out-of-state flight test operations for 1-2 weeks at a time
Collaborate with the engineering team to align software with project requirements
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in C++, Python, and MATLAB
Experience with Linux, GitLab, and Virtual Machines
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and System Simulation
Working knowledge of the 1553 bus protocol
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software code and requirement development
Willingness and ability to travel for multiple 1-2 week trips to support flight tests
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government secret clearance may be required
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
