APL Technical Infrastructure Analyst
American Public Life Insurance (APL) is seeking an APL Technical Infrastructure Analyst to collaborate with ISD teams and business units. The role involves evaluating, selecting, implementing, and supporting various technical computing and communication environments, as well as providing system administration and technical support.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with ISD teams and business units to identify, evaluate, select, implement and support the technical computing, end user computing, storage, network, collaboration and voice communications environments
Review, analyze, evaluate, recommend and implement technology infrastructure and services solutions using appropriate project management methodology
Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems
Perform system management activities including configuration, and tuning
Provide technical support and system administration which may include networks, servers, storage, operating systems, desktop and mobile environments, systems management software, email and messaging, telecom, directory services, enterprise collaboration, document management platforms, workflow systems and security infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing, implementing and managing large heterogeneous computing environments (Windows Server, Linux, IBM Z/OS operating systems) across a large multi-site multi-domain enterprise class networks
Experience with designing and supporting process workflow, document management, collaboration tools and platforms including SharePoint and OnBase
Knowledge of enterprise corporate messaging systems including Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Lync and mass email delivery
Strong oral and written communication skills including interpersonal and consultative skills
Demonstration of administrative and organizational skills
Broad knowledge of computing, telecommunications and network technologies including ability to understand and apply emerging technologies to current architecture
Experience with deploying and supporting complex distributed applications
Understanding of organizationally approved project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall)
Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge in the software applications required to support the operational activities of the Contact Center
Proven commitment to meeting organizational and departmental goals and objectives
Understanding of Knowledge Management concepts and Knowledge Centered Support (KCS) methodologies
Bachelor's Degree From Four-Year College or University
