Biogen is a mid-sized biotechnology company committed to excellence and innovation. They are seeking a Computational Biology Co-op to analyze high-throughput sequencing datasets, develop AI/ML models, and create web-based tools for data visualization.

Responsibilities
Analyze cutting-edge high-throughput sequencing datasets, such as single-cell RNA-seq, CITE-seq, Perturb-seq, etc
Apply state-of-the-art AI/ML models to analyze complex datasets generated from perturbation assays and human tissue samples
Develop web-based tools to enable broad access and flexible visualization of these datasets
Attend scheduled group meetings to present the findings and share insights
Provide regular updates on the progress and participate in the co-op poster presentation
Qualification
Required
Strong coding skills in Python, R and other data visualization tools
Hands-on experience in computational analysis of large-scale single-cell RNA-seq data
Expertise in developing AI/ML models for omics datasets
Experience with LLMs and agentic AI, and their applications in complex data processing
Legal authorization to work in the U.S
At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship
Currently pursuing PhD in Computational biology, Computer science, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or a related field
