Responsibilities
Design, develop, and architect Collibra solutions— not end‑user–level usage
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather and translate metadata and governance requirements into effective Collibra workflows and integrations
Develop and articulate metadata‑driven use cases and provide strategic solution recommendations
Create and maintain the Collibra Operating Model, aligned to organizational structures and governance processes
Enhance and extend the Collibra Metamodel to support evolving business needs
Establish and manage Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, and other metadata assets within Collibra
Connect Collibra to various enterprise data sources and systems for metadata ingestion
Diagnose Collibra-related issues and provide technical and functional solutions
Collaborate on integrations with complementary tools such as Alation and data quality platforms
Design and develop Collibra workflows using BPMN and Groovy
Build integrations using Collibra REST APIs and automate processes via API‑driven solutions
Write and maintain Groovy scripts to enhance workflow capability
Utilize SQL and basic database/data warehouse concepts to support metadata integration logic
Architect and develop integrations between Collibra and external tools (e.g., Alation, data quality solutions, ETL tools)
Qualification
Required
Proven hands‑on experience as a Collibra Developer/Architect/Technical SME
Strong understanding of Data Governance, Metadata Management, and related frameworks
Experience developing custom workflows, REST API integrations, and automation scripts in Collibra
Solid knowledge of databases, data warehouses, and SQL fundamentals
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
Preferred
Collibra Ranger Certification
Experience with Alation or similar metadata / governance platforms
Experience integrating Collibra with enterprise data quality and metadata tools
