Responsibilities
Promoting equitable social, economic, and environmental conditions to achieve optimal health, mental health, and well-being for all
Serving as the Department's Tribal Relations Coordinator and working in partnership with Tribes and American Indian/Alaskan Native Communities (AI/AN) on tribal programs, policies, and practices
Working with programs across CDPH as well as with Tribal Liaisons from other State of California Agencies and Departments interpretation of research and data; training, and contract and budget management
Communicating effectively and with cultural humility
Utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite proficiently
Traveling regularly statewide as required

Daily proficient utilization of the Microsoft Office Suite
Regular statewide travel may be required
If new to California state service, you will need to have taken and passed the examination for this classification in order to be hired for this position
