Sr Financial Operations Manager

Gentiva is a national leader in hospice care, palliative care, home health care, and advanced illness management. They are seeking a results-driven Senior Financial Operations Manager to support their Operations division with financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic recommendations, partnering closely with leadership to guide data-driven business decisions.

Responsibilities

Prepare quarterly industry analyses, monthly sales and profit comparative reports, and annual budgets for assigned business units
Oversee annual and mid-year budgeting processes for selected operations units
Analyze and compare financial results and metrics against plans and internal benchmarks
Monitor capital expenditures and ensure adherence to budget guidelines
Evaluate competitor financial results, industry activities, and regulatory trends to recommend aligned strategies
Provide monthly analytical reviews of financial results for business units and divisions
Deliver insights and analysis to support development of long-range goals, budgets, and forecasts
Assist Operations leadership by identifying financial impacts of business decisions
Develop financial models including ROI, productivity, and unit cost analyses
Act as liaison between Operations and Corporate Finance to ensure effective flow and completion of financial analyses
Perform additional duties as assigned
Travel approximately 5%

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial modeling, analysis, and budgeting
Strong understanding of financial operations including budget preparation, variance analysis, and strategic planning
Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with high-level problem-solving skills
Experience handling confidential financial information
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively interact with all organizational levels
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with finance and non-finance stakeholders
Skilled at translating financial concepts for varied audiences
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to multi-task and perform under tight deadlines
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new financial systems and software
