Facilities Manager I- College of Science
Georgia Tech is a top-ranked public research university situated in Atlanta, and they are seeking a Facilities Manager I to facilitate and coordinate building operations within an assigned facility. This role includes managing building maintenance, coordinating office moves, and overseeing the delivery and installation of equipment.

Responsibilities
Manage building maintenance functions (both routine and emergency); ensure activities are carried out in a complete and timely manner
Arrange for office moves within the facility; ensure they are carried out as scheduled
Coordinate the delivery and installation of building equipment
Maintain building access control system, including card entry and office key management
Facilitate arrangements of special events scheduled for the facility
Order building repair services as needed
Coordinate outside vendor/contractor services
Coordinate annual equipment inventory and maintain related records
Manage and update the emergency preparedness plan for the facility(facilities) and all related documents and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma
Three to five years job-related experience
Valid Georgia Driver's License
Work involves adherence to applicable safety precautions
Typically requires lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods
Skills in organization, communications, staging operations, general building maintenance processes, and scheduling
Use of office-related computer applications is required
