Senior Business Systems Analyst
Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join their Vendor Management and Intake team. The role involves providing technology solution consultative support by aligning user needs with available technology solutions, conducting outreach to stakeholders, and analyzing technology upgrade requests.

Responsibilities
Receiving and evaluating IT requests using ServiceNow and AgilePlace to include assessing request details, clarifying requirements and levels of effort, creating written assessments, and ensuring proper documentation in intake systems
Conducting outreach to stakeholders and gathering and documenting business cases and high-level requirements
Partnering with Architects, Procurement, Cyber, and other teams to provide technology consulting services, align technology solutions with business needs and strategy, and facilitate strategic decision-making regarding technology utilization
Utilize and act as a subject matter expert on our Enterprise Architecture tool, which is used to capture enterprise applications, business capabilities, etc
Analyzing technology upgrade requests, reviewing existing documentation, and engaging technical and procurement resources
Coordinating with supervisors and IT teams to ensure timely execution of approved requests and projects
Communicating and documenting status, decisions, and next steps to requestors and stakeholders via email, Teams, and ServiceNow while ensuring all parties are informed throughout the process
Qualification
Required
Experience working in an IT capacity or environment (e.g., information systems, architecture, technology support)
Experience with technology requirements gathering
Experience with technical writing
Ability to become proficient in enterprise architecture web platforms
Ability to assess technology solution capabilities
