Litigation Administrative Assistant
Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 60 firm, is seeking a Litigation Administrative Assistant to join their collaborative team in Orlando. The role involves providing high-level legal and administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in various litigation matters, including managing caseloads, preparing legal documents, and facilitating client communications.

Responsibilities
Assisting with the management of each attorney’s caseload by maintaining attorney calendars, making travel arrangements, and processing monthly expense reports
Preparing, revising, and finalizing correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents
Performing electronic filing (e-filing) in various courts and jurisdictions
Scheduling depositions, mediations, and other client meetings, and communicating with clients as necessary
Running conflict checks, opening new client/matter engagements, maintaining electronic files, setting up billing requirements for clients, maintaining and updating contacts, assisting with billing and client invoices, and handling other clerical assignments as delegated
Qualification
Required
At least five years of recent State and Federal litigation experience in a law firm environment
Strong writing and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and attendance
Experience with document management systems
Experience with docketing systems
Experience with billing or time entry programs
