Responsibilities
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple real estate entities
Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
Manage cash flow, money movement, and treasury activities
Handle accounting related to acquisitions, refinancings, and dispositions
Prepare budgets and analyze actuals versus budget
Manage quarterly owner and investor distributions
Review and approve payroll
Partner closely with ownership and senior leadership on financial decisions
Coordinate with outside tax professionals and auditors
Maintain strong internal controls and accurate reporting
Support ad hoc projects related to investment and family office activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of experience in real estate accounting
Significant hands-on real estate accounting experience
Comfortable owning the full accounting lifecycle in a lean environment
Experience with multi-entity accounting and cash management
Discreet, detail-oriented, and trusted with sensitive financial information
Seeking long-term stability and autonomy
Preferred
CPA a plus, not required
