Auditor I
The Oklahoma Office of the State Auditor and Inspector is seeking an Auditor I to work in their County Audit Division. The role involves auditing county governments and other political entities, requiring travel to various county courthouses in the Eastern Area.

Responsibilities
Utilize your accounting and auditing skills to audit county governments and other political entities, which includes but not limited to the following county courthouses: Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, LeFlore, McIntosh, Muskogee, Sequoyah, and Wagoner Counties
Flexibility with travel and overnight arrangements are essential for this position as travel to audit sites will be required and overnight stays possible for some audits
Please note, selected applicant will not be able to perform auditing work within the same county they reside
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in accounting, or other business-related field, or a minimum of two years' experience in an accounting and/or audit environment is necessary
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards
Knowledge of Government Auditing Standards
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability and desire to work as part of a team
Proficiency in Excel and Word
A valid driver's license
Flexibility with travel and overnight arrangements
