Chief of Staff to the President & CEO, Asia Society and Fellow, Asia Society Policy Institute
Asia Society India Centre is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the President & CEO in implementing their strategic vision and managing day-to-day priorities. The role involves coordinating information flow, managing the President & CEO's office, and overseeing various administrative and strategic tasks.

Responsibilities
Managing the President & CEO’s day-to-day schedule and movements in line Work closely with the management team, including to help communicate the President & CEO’s decisions and requests, but not acting as their proxy
Manage the President & CEO’s office, including the President & CEO’s administrative reports and coordinating with the President & CEO’s other advisors plus the Board Team. This includes ensuring the President & CEO’s office cultivates a reputation as open, respectful, responsive, and highly organized
Oversee the President & CEO’s diary, correspondence, research needs, op-ed and speech drafting, as well as media / social media and event engagement, including by working with other advisors and managing multiple inputs and, at times, complex processes to deliver on-time and quality results
Serve as chief speechwriter to the President & CEO capably authoring speeches and remarks on various issue areas
Act as the President & CEO’s principal advisor on multilateral affairs, including through keeping them updated on relevant international developments, maintaining relationships with the diplomatic community, and identifying strategic opportunities for engagement
Undertake or manage special policy projects or work, including through the Asia Society Policy Institute and, where relevant, taking up appropriate media opportunities
As required, engage externally on behalf of the President & CEO and support the President & CEO’s external roles, including with various other international institutions
Liaise with the President & CEO’s Australian-based staff, including to ensure an increasing coherence across their multifaceted engagements
Perform other duties as required, including for example managing/coordinating special tasks or projects
Other duties as assigned by the Chief of Staff to the President & CEO
Qualification
Required
Minimum of Bachelor's/Master's degree in related field
Minimum of 7-9 years' work experience in policy research, Asia studies, and project planning and management preferred
Minimum of 4 years of management/leadership experience
Outstanding analytical, verbal, written and overall communications skills
Proven organizational skills, with a strong ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and think creatively
A team player with positive attitude and sense of humor
Exceptional interpersonal skills; Strong ability to interact with the public and high-level individuals and work collaboratively with diverse constituencies
