Manager, Technology Operations

Walmart Canada is seeking a Manager for Technology Operations to join their Marketplace Payments & Financial Services team. This role involves developing strategies and launching product solutions for seller wallets, overseeing product operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance payment experiences.

Responsibilities

Product Leadership: Collaborate with UX, Product, and Tech to build differentiated fintech experiences
Payment Product Operations: Oversee money movement, incl. pay-in and disbursement processes to ensure secure and accurate payouts and transactions.  Analyze transaction trends and seller behaviors to recommend enhancements for product features
Performance Monitoring: Define and track KPIs, lead business reviews, and identify drivers to ensure product success
Data-Driven Decisions: Use seller feedback and analytics to build/ improve products and servicing operations
Compliance and Tax:  Coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure compliance and tax initiatives are implemented timely

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area
5 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area
5+ years in B2B payments, fintech, eCommerce, or related domains
SQL proficiency and strong analytical skills
Customer-centric mindset
Great communication and teamwork skills
Experience in cross-functional leadership and managing ambiguity

Preferred

Master's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
Knowledge of accessibility best practices
