Corporate Controller
BroadStar is a leading Private Cable Operator on the East Coast, providing reliable communication services for over 30 years. They are seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls while leading the monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all accounting and financial functions
Manage the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and reforecasts
Oversee billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes
Prepare annual budgets and support quarterly and annual tax filings
Coordinate with external CPA firms and advisors
Manage cash flow, projections, and treasury activities
Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Partner with leadership to provide clear financial insights and analysis
Supervise and support accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Review and record journal entries
Perform analytical reviews of monthly operating results
Maintain fixed asset records and coordinate inventories with IT
Oversee multi-entity accounting and cost allocations
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Support Fund Controllers with implementation of corporate policies
Help improve close and reporting timelines and accuracy
Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 7 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Prior leadership or supervisory experience
Preferred
Telecom, cable, or similar industry experience preferred
MBA, CPA, CMA, or CGMA a plus
