Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC milling, lathing and multi axis machines
Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications
Select tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters to optimize efficiency and precision
Monitor machines for performance, adjusting feeds, speeds, and tooling as required
Collaborate with welders and fabricators to support downstream assembly and maintain production flow
Inspect machined parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators)
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
Recommend and schedule repairs or upgrades as needed
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes
Troubleshoot and improve CNC operations
Qualification
Required
3+ years of CNC machining experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Experience machining steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Proficiency with precision measuring tools
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues
Experience in a custom or job-shop fabrication environment
Experience supporting welded assemblies and fabricated structures
