Responsibilities
Responsible for product knowledge to answer customer questions
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, cold calls, and emails
Greet customers and create rapport
Responsible for closing deals and processing payments
Responsible for customer follow-up
Developing leads and referrals
Achieve monthly sales quotas
Use excellent oral communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers
Report any inventory or pricing discrepancies to the branch manager
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Have an excellent knowledge of company inventory
Understand customer needs and requirements
Respond in a timely manner to company email, voicemail, and text
Attend monthly sales meetings
Identify slow-moving items
Coordinate purchasing with all locations
Utilize all 7 locations’ inventory for sales, if needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, some college a plus
3+ years of experience in sales or similar work experience
Spanish Speaking
Possess excellent customer service skills
Must be knowledgeable on store products
Good phone skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Dress and perform job duties in a professional manner
Follow company procedures and employee manual
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to read, write and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training
Able to read tape measure/caliper
Must be proficient in simple math; add, subtract, multiply, and divide – weights, length, size, etc
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to sit, squat, twist, reach and stand/walk for an entire workday
Ability to walk in a gravel yard and hard indoor surface to review stock many times each day
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Preferred
Spanish (plus)
Experience working with Profit 21 or similar ERP
Proficient with Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Excel, Word
