Responsibilities

Leads the organization’s Political Action Committee (PAC), setting its mission, goals, and overall direction
Engages closely with executive leadership and external stakeholders, ensuring that PAC operations, outreach, and communications are strategic, transparent, and fully compliant with federal and state regulations
Represents the organization at key political, advocacy, and community events
Focuses on fundraising and donor engagement, including developing solicitation strategies, organizing campaigns, and cultivating relationships with donors, political leaders, candidates, and community partners
Manages PAC communications- such as newsletters, presentations, and digital content- while keeping stakeholders informed about political developments
Works across the organization and with legislative and regulatory bodies to support policy goals, monitor regulatory changes, and develop communications that strengthen advocacy efforts
Provides legal affairs support by assisting corporate officers with maintaining official records, drafting minutes and resolutions, and preparing a wide range of legal documents under attorney supervision
Handles filings for legal entities, such as forming LLCs and drafting operating agreements, ensuring accurate documentation and ongoing compliance

Required

Law Degree (Juris Doctor) OR bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant paralegal experience OR bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of government affairs experience

Preferred

Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, to work with all levels of internal personnel, clients, external resources, and regulatory authorities
Strong familiarity of FEC compliance (reporting, disclaimers, limits) and campaign finance regulations
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and privacy (internally and externally) with a professional demeanor
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Strong people skills – able to work effectively with a diverse mix of team members
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Strong understanding of state and federal political processes
Understanding of partnerships and LLCs, and investments vehicles
Highly organized, autonomous, and collaborative
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Willingness to learn new areas outside of experience, including trusts and estates and tax
