Responsibilities
Lead or support quality improvement initiatives that drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization
Apply advanced problem-solving methods such as PDCA, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean to deliver measurable results
Manage and mentor a team of Quality Engineers and Supervisors, providing coaching, development, and succession planning
Conduct and analyze statistical testing, measurement systems analysis, and process capability studies
Oversee non-conformance investigations, CAPAs, and customer complaints, ensuring effective corrective actions
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Customers to improve product and process performance
Review the effectiveness of preventive and corrective actions, ensuring long-term compliance with FDA, ISO, and internal standards
Maintain accountability for Quality KPIs, including leading and lagging indicators of product and process performance
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Quality or Engineering within a manufacturing or operations environment
Deep understanding of Risk Management (FDA, ISO 9001/13485) and Quality Systems
Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, MSA, and Reliability methodologies
Hands-on ability to troubleshoot, analyze data, and present findings that drive decision-making
Black Belt certification (or willingness to obtain) required
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across levels and functions
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required
Strong data visualization and analytical software experience (Minitab, JMP, or similar)
