Sales Manager
Responsibilities
Full responsibility for achieving business objectives, with a strong focus on growing the Specialty Retail customer segment
Support the development and execution of the company’s sales strategy
Identify and develop new customers and uncover new market applications
Manage day-to-day sales activities within the assigned account base, including support to OEM Account Managers in fabric selection, specification review, and standards compliance
Prepare quotations and formal quote submissions and proactively follow up to drive closure
Prepare and deliver professional customer presentations and coordinate customer training and education initiatives as required
Develop sales projections, forecasts, and performance reports using CRM tools
Support the preparation of regional and national trade shows; attend and actively represent the company as required
Assist with the launch and demonstration of new collections at trade shows, seminars, and other industry or customer events
Provide market insights, customer feedback, and trend analysis to the Design Team by maintaining in-depth knowledge of the company’s markets and industry
Work closely with the Product Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities
Make a significant contribution to establishing and strengthening the company as a recognized brand in the market
Attend and actively participate in sales meetings and trade shows
Conduct regular business travel to customer sites (OEMs)
Demonstrate a structured and organized working approach, with regular reporting through the CRM system

Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree
7+ years of sales and management experience, preferably textile related
Travel within the assigned region
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated record of meeting sales goals in prior sales positions, strong closing skills
Presentation skills both product related & administrative
Relationship building (customers as well as internally with team)
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Must be self-driven with the ability to work well in both team and entrepreneurial environments
Proven experience in B2B sales, including direct customer engagement and account management
Demonstrated success in selling high-quality, premium products; experience in the furniture, textile, or related manufacturing industries is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of component-based B2B sales models (selling industrial or functional components rather than finished consumer products)
Customer-oriented sales mindset with a focus on problem-solving and value creation
Experience supporting the ongoing development and positioning of a brand
Hands-on, proactive professional with a strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, both externally with customers and internally with cross-functional teams
Experience within a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous
Willingness and ability to travel 40–60%, including regular visits to the Austrian headquarters
Strong presentation skills, including technical, product-related, and administrative topics
Self-motivated, results-driven individual who thrives in both team-oriented and entrepreneurial environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; CRM experience is advantageous
Demonstrates sound judgment, practicality, and strong business common sense
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred
Experience in the furniture, textile, or related manufacturing industries is strongly preferred
Background working in small to medium-sized enterprises preferred; prior experience with European companies and cross-cultural collaboration is a strong plus
SAP experience preferred, but not required
