Responsibilities

Adapt and improve operations management systems and processes to accommodate rapid and increasing growth in systems and traffic
Drive expedient resolution and root cause analysis for critical issues affecting your services
Mentor and develop a team of Operational Engineers with an emphasis on providing dial tone services
Bring continuous improvement to operational processes
Balance raw up-front dollar cost with usability, operability and TCO, both in datacenters and on-site services
Lead the development and delivery of state of the art system health monitoring, diagnostics, repair, and other self-healing automation
Develop automation tools and processes that reduce manual effort and increase overall efficiency
Innovate and drive improvements in monitoring and visualization of system health, status of maintenance tasks, and reporting systems

Required

Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
Eight (8+) years supporting Windows family of operating systems to include four (4) of the following eight (8) core competencies: AD, DHCP, PowerShell, Email workflow, SCCM, SCOM, Win OS, DNS, and disaster recovery/business continuity
4+ years scripting experience in the Windows environment (PowerShell)
Experience automating tasks such as, software packaging and deployment, automated security patching, and Operating System Deployment
Experience administering, maintaining and operating Active Directory Windows based networks

Preferred

Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
Ten (10+) years supporting Windows family of operating systems
Demonstrable track record dealing w/ ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results
Clear verbal and written communication skills necessary to create and collaborate with others with regard to technical documentation such as: Standard Operating Procedures, Run-books, Job Sheets
