They are seeking a Senior Manager, Channel Partnerships to lead the strategy, recruitment, and acquisition of partners that serve the Home Service space, while also managing and coaching a team of Partner Managers.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the channel business development strategic plan
Conduct market research and identify target prospects with partners in key categories whose clients would benefit from the introduction and implementation of Jobber
Maintain a pipeline of channel partnership opportunities for the channel team that drive both reach and new revenue for Jobber to achieve business objectives
Develop compelling business value propositions that encourage franchise partners to adopt and invest in advocating partnering with Jobber
Recruit, manage and coach a team of Partner Managers
Drive connection with potential partners through phone, email, and Linkedin outreach to generate new opportunities
Structure appropriate partner models/contracts to achieve mutually beneficial business results and drive execution of related partnership agreements
Pitch and close partnerships with partners to meet business objectives
Develop in-depth knowledge of Jobber product offering as well as our partner offering and competitive advantages
Maintain partnership industry competitive detail to understand our partnership gaps
Partnering with internal stakeholders including product and marketing to drive channel growth
Provide feedback to product teams on partner feature requests and gaps that prevent Jobber from being the #1 referred Field Service Platform

Required

Proven previous experience in a results-driven sales/partnership, affiliate and/or business development role(s)
Demonstrated experience in people management

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You know how to multitask with the best of them while also staying focused on delivery and execution
A passion for building from nothing, programs and teams
Strong written and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and communicate across internal and external stakeholders
Ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate effectively, with strong objection-handling capabilities
Willing to occasionally travel to partner on-sites, conferences or other business needs

Preferred

Experience working with franchisors is a plus
