Future Healthcare Alliance is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Controller with a strong tax background and active CPA to lead accounting and financial reporting across multiple healthcare entities. This hands-on, in-office role supports a growing healthcare organization and partners closely with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (GAAP)
Manage accounting and consolidation for multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions
Lead all federal, state, and local tax compliance and filings
Monitor tax law and healthcare regulatory changes to ensure compliance
Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Mentor accounting staff and drive process improvements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Active CPA license (required)
5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong tax compliance and reporting experience
Multi-entity accounting experience
Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
Ability to work fully in-office

Preferred

Healthcare industry experience (MSO, physician groups, or multi-entity healthcare organizations)
Prior Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement and regulatory environments
