We are seeking a Project Director – Rail Transit to manage transportation-related projects and client communications, develop production work plans, and lead project teams in analysis and design.

Responsibilities
Manage transportation-related projects and client communications
Develop production work plans, schedules, and budgets
Serve as single point of contact for clients
Work with other project managers to establish contract budgets and scopes of work
Lead Rail and Transit project teams in analysis and design, overseeing performance of complex design
Ensure proper codes and standards are used on projects
Mentor technical staff and assistant project managers
Supervise, coordinate, and review work of engineers and designers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field is often required
Minimum 10 years of extensive project management experience, to handle project elements such as planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery
CA Professional Engineer License (PE) or PEng
Familiarity with rail track, rail signal, or rail grade crossing design and construction
Proficiency in planning, coordinating, and handling multiple railroad projects within the area of responsibility
Ability to work in a dynamic matrix environment, collaborate with regional and local managers, and manage marketing and production efforts
Strong mathematical, analytical, time management skills
