Administration Team Leader
Apogee Insurance Group is a Berkshire Hathaway specialty broker focused on various types of insurance. They are seeking an Administration Team Leader to manage daily operations, improve efficiency, and develop the team while maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily Administration Team operations: Supervise workflow and performance of team members responsible for processing
Drive process improvement: Identify and implement changes to improve the efficiency of systems and processes
Ensure quality standards: Perform regular quality checks to uphold service excellence and accuracy
Lead training and development: Provide coaching, support and job-specific training to team members
Conduct performance management: Participate in performance evaluations, compensation reviews and career development planning
Recruit and hire team members: Assist in interviewing and selecting new team members
Foster a customer-focused culture: Promote positive customer relationships and uphold company service standards
Maintain communication: Provide direction and updates to team through meetings and regular communication
Support system initiatives: Assist with system testing and troubleshooting as needed
Maintain administrative oversight: Track team attendance and maintain records
Qualification
Required
P&C License (must obtain within first 90 days of employment)
People leadership skills: Ability to coach, guide and motivate a team in a production environment
Customer service mindset: Committed to delivering high-quality service internally and externally
Strong organization and efficiency: Capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Communication proficiency: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact across teams
Understanding of Insurance Market & Insurance Wholesaler Marketplace
Energetic, goal-oriented, methodical, accountable, and has a positive attitude
Preferred
College Bachelor's Degree preferred (or equivalent business experience)
3+ years in insurance industry (Wholesale Brokerage preferable)
