Transition Manager
NeerInfo Solutions is seeking a Transition Manager to oversee large-scale IT transition programs. The role involves ensuring smooth execution of transitions while maintaining service levels and minimizing operational impact through effective planning, project management, and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive detailed transition plans outlining project expectations, scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements
Lead transition projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and using standardized tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, ITIL)
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations at all levels
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with transitions and develop effective mitigation and contingency strategies to resolve them swiftly
Facilitate change management processes including conducting workshops and providing guidance and training to staff members to ensure understanding and adoption of new systems or processes
Oversee complex knowledge transfer processes with robust quality checks and governance to ensure the receiving teams are fully prepared for the business as usual environment
Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and KPIs, track data, manage escalations, and provide clear concise status reports to senior leadership
Ensure that the final delivery of each service transition meets agreed upon requirements and is auditable according to quality processes
Qualification
Required
The Transition Manager will oversee largescale IT transition programs such as transferring services to a new provider migrating to cloud based solutions or integrating acquired systems
Develop and execute comprehensive detailed transition plans outlining project expectations scope schedule budget and resource requirements
Lead transition projects from initiation through completion ensuring alignment with organizational goals and using standardized tools and methodologies eg Agile Waterfall ITIL
