Business Development Director - Banking/Advisory Partnerships

The Business Development Director - Banking/Advisory Partnerships will lead the growth of Quantum’s partnership ecosystem, developing strategic relationships with bank and non-bank partners to expand Quantum’s financing solutions.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new partners through outreach, networking, industry events, and targeted campaigns. Develop your BD pipeline to achieve personal and team goals
Engage prospects to understand their business models, identify pain points, and demonstrate the value of Quantum’s working capital products and embedded lending partnerships
Structure, negotiate, and close partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with both Quantum’s objectives and partner goals
Collaborate with Partner Success, Product, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams to help deliver successful new partnerships
Support the VP, Business Development in executing and refining Quantum’s partner strategy and go-to-market approach
Represent Quantum at industry events and conferences to elevate brand visibility and strengthen industry relationships

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA a plus
5+ years in B2B consultative sales, channel sales, or partnership management, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or financial services
2+ years of experience either working for, selling into, or developing relationships with banks, credit unions, and/or financial advisory companies
Demonstrated strength across the entire BD pipeline (i.e., identifying new opportunities, prospect outreach, pipeline management, contract negotiations, and deal closing)
Experience leveraging CRM software and outreach tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and resilient; thrives in a fast-paced growth environment
Ability to travel domestically as required

Preferred

Deep understanding of lending products (e.g., personal loans, credit lines, real estate lending, or business loans)
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Highly strategic with the ability to translate partner and market insights into business initiatives
Exceptional communication skills, capable of interfacing with C-level stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and experience working with CRM and analytics tools
