This role involves ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and data-driven decision-making while collaborating with various departments to optimize cost structures and support strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for manufacturing operations
Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and operational performance metrics
Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Develop and manage standard costing, cost accounting, and inventory valuation processes
Monitor manufacturing costs, labor efficiency, scrap, overhead absorption, and productivity KPIs
Conduct margin analysis, product cost reviews, and profitability assessments
Partner with plant management to identify cost‑reduction opportunities and operational improvements
Support capital expenditure planning, ROI analysis, and post‑project evaluations
Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes for manufacturing sites
Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning
Track performance against budget and forecast, highlighting risks and opportunities
Implement and maintain strong internal controls across manufacturing and inventory processes
Oversee cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciliation activities
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
Serve as the financial business partner to plant managers, supply chain leaders, and engineering teams
Translate operational data into actionable financial insights
Support pricing decisions, sourcing strategies, and production planning initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting
Strong understanding of standard costing, BOMs, routings, and ERP systems
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on manufacturing environment
Preferred
CPA or CMA
