General Superintendent
FootBridge Company is supporting a confidential partner delivering complex, high-performance construction projects and is seeking a seasoned General Superintendent to lead field operations in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role is ideal for a senior construction leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at driving execution across multiple teams, schedules, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate day-to-day field operations across major construction initiatives
Direct site leadership teams, including superintendents and foremen, to ensure consistent execution and alignment with project objectives
Build and manage look-ahead schedules, sequencing plans, and manpower strategies
Partner closely with project management, subcontractors, and trade partners to maintain momentum and resolve issues proactively
Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence across all work areas
Identify risks early and implement solutions to protect schedule, cost, and performance targets
Oversee site logistics, workflow planning, and construction methodologies to maximize efficiency
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with project requirements
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Perform additional duties as needed to support project success
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive experience in field leadership roles within commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction
Demonstrated ability to lead large crews and manage complex site operations
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence diverse teams
OSHA 30 certification required
CPR/First Aid certification required
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Comfort working in both office and active construction environments
Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and safely navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and accessing elevated work areas
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to operate site vehicles such as side-by-side UTVs
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends as required by project demands
Regular travel to local and regional project sites
Valid driver's license required
Occasional overnight travel to remote or regional project locations
Benefits
Per Diem: $143.00 a day.
