Responsibilities
Performs rigging work, which includes the suspension and attachment of items to the facility, some lightweight, some very elaborate and heavy
Interprets plans and blueprints, calculates rigging bridles and weights
Compiles billing information
Interacts with clients regarding labor and equipment needs and 'on site' billing issues
Directs, oversees, and trains Prime Time Riggers
Ensures all safety procedures and OCCC policies are followed
Maintains shop and rigging equipment inventory and repairs/replaces when necessary
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Three (3) years of experience in live show production, trade show or exhibitor rigging, which includes climbing structural steel, operating aerial equipment and electric chain hoists, reading rigging plots and calculating bridles and weights
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License
Preferred
Two (2) years of supervisory experience
