Responsibilities
Oversees all programmatic and clinical aspects of the SHIP Scatter Site Housing Program
Ensures the program operates in compliance with HUD supportive housing standards and Housing Works’ internal policies
Maintains high-quality, resident-centered services
Demonstrates strong ability to review and provide constructive feedback on case manager documentation and resident engagement
Provides supportive yet directive supervision, coaching staff in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, addressing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and crisis intervention
Proficient in Microsoft Office with demonstrated ability to write, assess, and evaluate program performance and staff effectiveness
Able to travel throughout New York City, including regular use of public transportation
Qualification
Required
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Demonstrates strong ability to review and provide constructive feedback on case manager documentation and resident engagement, ensuring best practices are followed in home visits, assessments, service plans, progress notes, and case conferences
Provides supportive yet directive supervision, coaching staff in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, addressing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and crisis intervention
Proficient in Microsoft Office with demonstrated ability to write, assess, and evaluate program performance and staff effectiveness
Able to travel throughout New York City, including regular use of public transportation
