Responsibilities
Lead operational and supply chain strategy to meet customer care and company growth objectives
Lead functional areas, including manufacturing, purchasing, planning, maintenance, site safety, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering
Engage, inspire, motivate, and develop team members
Drive improved customer responsiveness and labor productivity through improved processes and systems to support growth and deployment of lean methodologies
Be a strong business partner to the Municipal Business Unit leadership team. Develop and deploy strategy in a collaborative manner
Maintain a safe and high-quality work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of ten years of hands-on experience in operations leadership
Proven track record of success leading manufacturing and supply chain activities
Excellent business acumen and operations aptitude
Strong communication skills
Ability to think strategically
Outstanding track record and reputation for driving improvement
Ability to establish immediate credibility at all levels, inside and outside the organization
Preferred
Master's degree
Experience in a high-mix low-volume (HMLV) production environment
Experience with machining and assembly operations
Familiarity with a union environment
