Responsibilities
Disassembly/Assembly of molds/dies
Run ALL machine shop equipment related to tool and die industry (lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, TIG welder and various hand tools)
Ability to troubleshoot problems at the press
Understanding of injection mold/press die process
Read/Understand 2D and 3D drawing data related to molds/dies
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum - High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 5 years' experience with die repair or new build
All aspects of the Tool and Die trade
Disassembly/Assembly of mold/dies, manual machining, troubleshooting
Stand, push, pull, bend over, perform repetitive motions and lift up to 35 lbs
Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work any shift and work overtime
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to bend at the knees and hips
Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms
Preferred
2yr degree in Machine Tool Technology or Apprenticeship in Tool and Die
Journeyman's card in tool and die making or machining, with Deep Draw Experience
