Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions
Craft and execute the API hosting goal, identifying opportunities, assessing impact, and prioritizing initiatives
Establish the technical direction, guide the team through design and code reviews, and address complex problems alongside them
Represent the team as a technical authority, building partnerships to drive design alignment and cross-functional success with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Engineering Productivity (Engprod), and other key teams
Lead to shape the future of our API hosting platform, powering seamless development for both internal and external customers. Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and influence and coach a distributed team of engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in software development
5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products
Experience in one or more programming languages, including Java, C++, Go, Python
Experience in building large-scale distributed systems
Preferred
Experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction
Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects
Experience with policy enforcement and integration
Experience with cloud technologies
