Responsibilities

Partner to department leadership to oversee the Internal Audit Program, including managing associated tools, programs and documents to ensure comprehensive coverage of all property operations, driving continuous improvement
Conduct thorough review of completed Audit Reports to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment across the property portfolio
Maintain accurate records of internal audits conducted for the current and prior years, ensuring adherence to audit timelines and deadlines
Oversee the collection of internal audit data (KPIs) to identify trends and operational gaps
Identify inefficiencies and operational gaps and support initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce variation
Collaborate with Operations and Performance Team Leadership to identify, design and implement process improvements to streamline property operations
Support the onboarding process for team new hires, including creating and managing training materials as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop, distribute and manage training materials (e.g., articles, infographics and job aides) ensuring consistent property operations practices
Maintain the Operations and Performance intranet page, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with evolving policies and processes
Actively support and contribute to departmental and cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Partner with Operations and Performance Team Leadership to identify, design, and implement process improvements that streamline property operations and improve execution
Serve as a liaison between property teams, regional leadership, and corporate partners to align execution with company objectives
Support change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes and operational expectations
Represent the Operations and Performance Team at regional and/or national meetings as needed, which may include facilitating presentations to enhance policy understanding, promote audit engagement, and drive improvement in audit scores

Required

Experience in property management or a related field
Strong analytical skills to assess operational performance and identify trends
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Experience in developing and managing training materials
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
Experience with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance measurement
Familiarity with internal audit processes and compliance
