Responsibilities

Leads development, strategic planning and implementation for MeckSuccess and Work First Kinship programs
Provides detailed reporting and data analysis measuring program performance, impacts and outcomes
Carries out administrative duties overseeing day-to-day operations of programs, including budgeting, resource allocation, and staff management
Collaborates with community partners on economic mobility, workforce development and educational supports

Required

Minimum of seven years of experience in area of assignment and two years of supervisory experience
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Education or related field
Proficient in various computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of general social work principles and available resources
Knowledge of social services procedures, practices and methods
Knowledge of social services related federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations relating to provision of public assistance, and social welfare
Knowledge of case management methods and techniques
Knowledge of services offered by the county and other local public and private community-based service agencies
Knowledge of developing trends and best practices in the specific program area
Skills in supervising and evaluating employees
Analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret and present data effectively
Skills in prioritizing and assigning work
Skills in managing and executing multiple tasks
Skills in maintaining various confidential records
Skills in evaluating records to ensure accreditation standards are met
Skills in exercising judgment and discretion
Skills in resolving conflict and crisis intervention
Skills in achieving and maintaining effective relationships with clients, other professionals and the general public
Skills in preparing correspondence and comprehensive reports

Preferred

Proven ability to manage complex programs, budgets, and teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences
Current or previous leadership experience in education, child/family development, social services, or closely related area
Extensive program management experience, ideally within a non-profit or public service setting, with a focus on workforce development
Familiarity with relevant policy frameworks and legislative processes related to economic mobility
Previous experience with grant writing and local government social services / public assistance programs
Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., public administration, public policy social work, economics, human services)
