The role involves researching, creating, and maintaining real estate-related documents to support right of way agents in negotiating easements and land-owner payments.

Responsibilities
Partnering with field agents and project managers to create right-of-way acquisition documents for property owners
Researching and documenting land-owner titles, tax records, encumbrances (liens, mortgages, etc.) and other property interests via GIS and other online systems
Reviewing, preparing, and maintaining legal documents and reports on behalf of our clients
Qualification
Required
Knowledge or experience in the principles and practices of real property acquisition, the legal instruments involved in real estate transactions, methods of searching for property owners, title and/or tax records
High proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, SharePoint and Teams as well as Adobe
Ability to communicate effectively with people of varied backgrounds, cultures and temperaments
Detail oriented, with the ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with excellent reading comprehension, writing and verbal skills in order to summarize work progress, convey research results and create ongoing reference materials for use in managing a pipeline of projects
Ability to adapt to client or project-specific procedures and guidelines while exhibiting high degree of professionalism and project level teamwork
Preferred
Knowledge of GIS and other real estate related document systems
