In this role, you will lead strategy development and execution for varying wine categories, driving performance through data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute category strategies that drive sales, margin, and market share
Analyze category performance and consumer trends, identifying actionable insights and business opportunities
Provide recommendations for increasing sales and margin using promotional and pricing levers
Work cross-functionally, with both internal and external business partners, to successfully deliver financial goals and drive the execution of product introduction in our stores
Drive execution of sales and profitability, with pre-defined strategies, including a focus on in-stock management
Key supplier management, inventory tracking, weekly category & supplier analysis
Leverage interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across the business
Support team with additional projects and strategies as needed, including process improvement and company initiatives
Must be able to prioritize many assignments simultaneously, and work under tight deadlines

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Management, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics or related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
3-6 years experience with retail product buying, category management or business management
Experience with relationship management, business ownership, and strategic planning
Experience analyzing data and financials using advanced Excel functions (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
Computer skills: Microsoft Office-Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
Preferred
Wine knowledge or interest a plus
