Responsibilities
Lead monthly financial close and general accounting activities for portfolio companies
Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables
Oversee and support Topo team members executing client engagements
Partner with clients on budgeting, planning, and forecasting, including cash flow projections
Research and provide leadership on technical accounting matters and evolving standards
Assess internal control environments and design process improvements
Document, implement, and monitor internal controls as part of operational accounting work
Qualification
Required
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
A self-starter who can turn ideas into action in fast-paced environments
Passion for working with numbers and helping people succeed
Ability to shift seamlessly between strategic thinking and tactical execution
5+ years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting or finance, or similar roles
Strong quantitative skills with advanced spreadsheet experience and familiarity with QuickBooks
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving business environments
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
