This role involves being the technical owner of continuous mixing systems used in food and ingredient processing applications, ensuring that systems are correctly applied, designed, built, and commissioned for each customer.

Responsibilities
Serve as the technical authority for the Exact Mixing product line, including mixer selection, system architecture, and process suitability
Evaluate customer formulations, throughput requirements, hydration levels, and process constraints to determine appropriate mixer technology and system configuration
Advance the product line through application expansion, reliability improvements, and standardization
Support Sales during pre-award phases by validating process assumptions, equipment sizing, and system layouts
Participate in technically complex customer discussions related to continuous mixing versus batch processing
Ensure quoted systems reflect correct application, performance expectations, and scope
Define and execute mixing trials using customer ingredients at the Science & Innovation Center or in-plant demonstrations
Develop trial objectives, acceptance criteria, and documentation
Interpret trial results related to mixing performance, hydration, temperature, shear, and product consistency
Support new mixer development, design verification, and performance testing
Support project handoff from Sales to Engineering and maintain technical oversight throughout execution
Review and approve system designs, calculations, layouts, vendor selections, and component specifications
Lead technical design reviews and ensure systems meet internal standards and customer requirements
Participate in pre-delivery inspections and approve systems prior to shipment
Support installation, startup, and commissioning at customer facilities
Troubleshoot process and equipment issues during startup
Capture field learnings related to formulation, operation, and system performance and feed them back into future designs
Resolve technical issues related to warranty or system performance
Provide engineering feedback to improve mixer designs, system integration, and operational robustness
Maintain and evolve application guidelines, technical standards, and best practices for Exact Mixing systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or related Engineering discipline
Experience with process equipment, material handling, or integrated manufacturing systems
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, system layouts, and calculation packages
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in real-world production environments
Comfortable working directly with customers on technical and operational topics
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; a valid passport is required
