Senior Technical Program Manager, Android and Device Security

Responsibilities
Lead complex cross-functional programs that range from securing android and first-party device ecosystems to delivering next generation security features within the Android platform
Lead efforts across internal teams including feature engineers, product management, release management, and external parties including OEMs, SoC, vendors
Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable static or dynamic analysis solutions that ensure the Android ecosystem is protected against known issues and supply chain risks
Plan and lead engineering programs that deliver new security and privacy capabilities within the Android platform. Utilize a data driven approach, making use of appropriate metrics and dashboards, to monitor and drive program success
Manage relationships with key internal and external partners, be an advocate for our security programs and help institutionalize new security practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in program management
Experience with Mobile System Security or Android
Preferred
8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
5 years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports
5 years of experience in Mobile System Security
Experience in hardware and software development life-cycles, metric definition and executive presentation, and technical program management
Experience with the Android platform and working with external partners including OEMs, SoCs, Carriers, Contract Manufacturers and Regulators
