The Project Engineer - Passive Safety will support project management, enhance communication between business units, and ensure compliance with testing procedures while acting as the primary customer liaison during testing activities.

Responsibilities
Support Project Manager on project and customers management, understanding the project needs and reflecting them in company’s proposals
Enhance communications between the company’s Business Units
Obtain knowledge of all applicable testing procedures
Ensure that all tests are conducted in accordance with the test procedures
Prepare in-house test procedures and test books
Conduct periodic inspections to ensure that all test methods are kept up to date
Perform various testing tasks including but not limited to:
Main interface between customer and test lab during testing activities
Ensure all Customer test specifications are fulfilled
Interpret test results and prepare test reports and other necessary deliverables
Assist in the design and implementation of new test fixtures, equipment, and methods
Based in Adelanto but availability to travel to Customer’s premises
Act as the project lead and primary Customer liaison for tests and projects. Collect all necessary
Handle any administrative tasks/requests for the floor as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical information clearly
Must be physically able to support test preparation and execution in an outdoor environment
Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work extended hours
Meet all workplace health and safety requirements and practices
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
