Responsibilities
Owning and improving quality processes within an aerospace machine shop operating under ISO 9001 and AS9100
Serving as the technical quality authority across manufacturing, engineering, inspection, and supply chain without direct people management
Leading PPAP activities including documentation review, risk assessment, process validation, and ongoing compliance
Driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), customer escapes, and systemic root cause analysis
Supporting and participating in customer, third-party, and internal audits, including audit preparation and follow-up
Ensuring consistent application of inspection methods, control plans, and process documentation across all manufacturing areas
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of quality experience in an aerospace manufacturing or precision machining environment
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, implementation, and audit readiness
Hands-on proficiency with CMM programming, operation, and interpretation of inspection data
Advanced understanding of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and dimensional inspection techniques
Experience with PPAP, FAI (AS9102), SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, FMEA, and control plans
Solid background in nonconformance management, MRB processes, and corrective action systems
Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction and without the need for current or future sponsorship
