Responsibilities
Manage the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collection of payments in accordance with customer terms
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts as needed
Post customer payments into the accounting system on a daily basis
Prepare and scan checks for remote deposit daily
Generate and distribute customer statements via email on a weekly basis
Enter and apply credits, adjustments, and account corrections accurately
Reconcile accounts receivable accounts and assist with month-end close activities
Maintain accurate, organized financial records and documentation
Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Bookkeeping
Strong understanding of AR processes, collections, and basic accounting principles
Proficiency with accounting software and strong computer skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
