Quality Assurance Architect
eNGINE is a Solutions and Placement firm that focuses on building technical teams and fostering continuous learning. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Architect to implement data tracing and log-based validation strategies, ensuring quality and reliability objectives are met across complex systems.
Responsibilities
Utilize data tracing and log analytics (Splunk and related tools) to validate data integrity, transaction accuracy, and system reliability across distributed applications
Analyze Splunk logs to model application behavior, identify deviations from expected patterns, and proactively detect potential failure points
Design, develop, and execute end-to-end test cases that provide full operational visibility across interconnected systems and services
Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and production support teams to ensure QA has visibility across the complete application lifecycle
Integrate observability and traceability concepts into the QA framework, improving detection of regression and system defects
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance test coverage, quality metrics, and incident traceability
Prepare test documentation, reports, and dashboards summarizing findings, trace data, and overall application health
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline; or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing within an enterprise or regulated environment
Proficiency with Splunk or equivalent log monitoring and analytics platforms
Experience applying data tracing, distributed tracing frameworks, or telemetry analysis in QA workflows
Strong understanding of SDLC, test automation, and continuous integration practices
Demonstrated ability to interpret system logs, trace data flows, and correlate issues across multi-tier architectures
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and written communication abilities
Preferred
Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and API-level testing
Experience with observability stacks
Competence in one or more scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or PowerShell)
Knowledge of performance monitoring and service reliability testing practices
