Kitting Cell Supervisor

Responsibilities

Ability to clearly communicate either verbally or in writing with other managers/leaders at various management levels throughout the entire organization
Interface with the ERP system for Material Management: Efficiently manage inventory, track material usage, and ensure accurate documentation within the ERP system
Optimize schedules and planning per business needs: Coordinate with production teams to schedule kitting cell activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects
Lead the kitting cell team: Supervise and support team members to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. The ability to schedule work and personnel to meet production start dates and the experience advise and adapt when they’re circumstances impede or delay the schedule
An understanding of the software required to successfully manage all aspects of the kitting cell. (Training will be provided)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with material planning, production control, and engineering teams to streamline processes and resolve any issues that may arise
Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance within the kitting cell
Maintain compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols always

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college with 3-5 years of Manufacturing or relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 7-10 years of manufacturing or relevant experience
Candidate must have 1-3 years of Supervisor or progressive leadership experience; Union management experience is highly preferred
Previous experience in inventory management/warehouse experience is highly preferred
This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. A ‘U.S. Person,' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62, includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization. If hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status

Preferred

Microsoft office capability in excel, power point etc
Strong ERP system (SAP) knowledge preferred
Strong team building skills
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills set
Prior experience as a process leader with implementing productivity tools
Strong organizational skills
Ability and willingness to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion
